
Taiwan Sustainability Value Index
After five years of research, College of Business and Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) jointly released the Taiwan Sustainability Value Index (TWSVI) in July 2018, and it was the first sustainability-themed index compiled by the University in Taiwan that integrates the evaluation of international corporate sustainability standards with local elements. Besides, the Index combines academic independence and profession with high trust in nonprofit organizations. After the research and considering ESG risk, the selected constituent stocks outperformed other indices.
The index was published on Solactive official website and on the international real-time financial information platform, Reuters (ticker: TWNSI) and Bloomberg (ticker: TWNSI Index) in January 2019; last but not least, with carefully calculated and maintained by S&P Global, S&P Global has officially published on their official website at the end of the same year.

TIP Taiwan Environmental Sustainability Index
The TIP Taiwan Environmental Sustainability index (hereinafter referred to as “TIP Environmental Sustainability Index”), which Taiwan Index Plus Corporation (TIP) utilized evaluation results based on the “Taiwan Sustainability Ratings: Environmental Sustainability Module” and designs constituents selection and weighting methodology, measures the performance of Taiwan companies listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and Taipei Exchange (TPEx) that meet criteria for managing risks and opportunities of environmental sustainability, taking account both considerations of environmental sustainability performance and returns of long-term investment. The “Taiwan Sustainability Rating: Environmental Sustainability Module” that annually assess overall performances of companies conducting business activities in areas of environmental sustainability, particularly on Environmental system and governance, Air and Water management, Energy and Climate change, Material and Waste management, Biodiversity, Suppliers and Product life cycle management. It is an ESG evaluation system developed by TIP and Center for Corporate Sustainability from the College of Business at National Taipei University (NTPU). Center for Corporate Sustainability includes researchers and professionals from academics (NTPU) and NGO (Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy, TAISE).

TIP Customized Environmental Sustainability Dividend+ Index
In view of the trend of environmental sustainability and high dividend investment, Taiwan Index Plus Corporation utilized evaluation results based on the "Taiwan Sustainability Ratings: Environmental Sustainability Ratings'' and "Taiwan Sustainability Ratings: Environmental Sustainability Module", designs “TIP Customized Environmental Sustainability Dividend+ Index” (hereafter TIP ESDP Index). The index evaluation is constructed by Center for Corporate Sustainability, College of Business, National Taipei University" (hereinafter referred to as the "Center for Corporate Sustainability Research") using public information such as sustainability reports, annual reports and government information to screen listed companies with better results in sustainable development and friendly environment, select high dividend stocks, and allocate constituent weights by using the weighting of the yield rate. TIP applies dividend yields weighting scheme and selects Taiwan companies listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and Taipei Exchange (TPEx). TIP ESDP Index is developed to represent the performance of investing in both considerations of sustainability and high dividend payments.
